NOWSUD is one of the most progressive local NGOs in Isiolo County implementing sustainable poverty alleviation interventions targeting mostly vulnerable women and high-risk youth. Our key focus is building community resilience in the face of violent extremism and other conflicts that have a very negative impact on livelihoods and peaceful co-existence among the cosmopolitan society known for violent ethnic-driven natural resources based conflicts.
